 Spirit Of Prophecy Church
Why are we called “The Spirit of Prophecy Church"?
In
revelation 19:10 it says... “and of thy brethren that have the
testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the
spirit of prophecy.” To be said that you have the testimony of
Jesus, is saying that you are a duplicate, a record of Christ. As
Christians, there are few greater compliments that can be said of you
that you are Christ-like. Jesus was the only man who has ever lived
not only a perfect life, but had a perfect love for everyone. Christ
knew and loved the potential in every person he met. He lifted up
children when others put them down. He picked up the downtrodden,
helped the helpless, and healed the sick. Jesus went to the cross and
all the way up to his death, continued loving and seeking forgiveness
for those who put him there.
Our church is purposed to bring
this Christ-like love to this world, and specifically the Dallas area.
We desire to see everyone we come in contact with, from church to the
streets, with the eyes of Jesus. We want eyes that see no boundaries,
only love, forgiveness, and potential to greatness.
Our Vision
To prepare each member of the body of Christ to be released into their own ministry.
Praise & Worship
We
believe in covering the very Throne of God with Praise and Worship as
music was created to do. This involves having a spirit of worship and
praise as David did which includes dancing, singing, clapping,
shouting, and at times jumping. (Psalms 149:3, Psalms 150:3-6)
